Fees & Payments

Under UK law, only certain payments can be charged during a tenancy, including a holding deposit of up to one week’s rent, a security deposit of up to five weeks’ rent (protected in a government-approved scheme), rent and agreed bills, and limited additional costs such as late rent interest, replacement keys or tenant-requested changes. All permitted payments will be explained before you sign your tenancy agreement.
