Our Area - Ashby-de-la-Zouch

With its town centre location, Ashby de la Zouch has a lot on offer – from cafes to castles. Considered a spa town in the 19th century, the site of the former Victorian baths is still open for visits and the beer brewing Museum, in nearby Burton on Trent, is worth a trip. As well as the activities in the town, Ashby is best known for its nearby national forest walks and trails.

Beyond its quaint countryside appearance and interesting history, author Sue Townsend’s most famous fictional character Adrian Mole was said to have lived here at the age of 13 ½…!
