Below are details of what's on this December in and around Leicester.
Jubilee Square Ice Rink
The rink will have a clear roof so skaters can show off their best moves come rain or shine, plus a new feature this year is an outdoor ice trail. The Jubilee Square experience is crowned by the magnificent Wheel of Light soaring above the skaters giving people the best view of the city's lights.
Christmas Wheel of Light
After popular demand, Leicester’s Wheel of Light arrives back in Jubilee Square. Each ride lasts for approximately 8 to 10 minutes, in which you'll rise to a dizzying 110 feet! The wheel offers unparalleled views around Jubilee Square and beyond, and you can even catch a sneak peek of all the twirling skaters in the nearby ice rink.
Santa in the Square
Come and visit Santa in the Square! A wonderful FREE experience for children and families to visit with Father Christmas at his beautifully decorated Christmas grotto in New Market Square – A truly magical experience!
