Christmas is a time for family and friends, for playing games, eating, drinking and being merry. It’s also a great time for families to make plans and decisions for the coming year.
During this time there are fewer properties coming to the market, however, there is a huge surge in people looking on the property portals over the Christmas period. Our friends at Rightmove have very kindly given us this graph to show the amount of traffic over this period on their website.
With less competing properties available on the market and a concentrated demand for properties, prices can often increase, as buyers battle it out to secure a property.
So, Christmas is a GREAT time to market your property!
Before the Christmas period we will visit your home, advise on the best pricing strategy, prepare the marketing and social media (including professionally enhanced photographs and floorplans), and then launch your property to the market on Christmas Eve.
But we won’t disturb you over this time and will wait until the New Year to begin viewings. This means you don’t have to worry about tidying up whilst you have visitors, you can put the decorations away and get the kids back to school…..normality resumes!
